Business Development Executive - Canary Wharf - Competitive Salary & OTE An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join a global blue-chip organisation specialising in providing software and services to the legal, tax, accounting, finance and news and media sectors. As a Business Development Executive, you will work within their legal sales team working to drive the sales of the company's product suite within UK and International regions as assigned by the Sales Manager. The role primarily requires a constant level of contact the company's internal partners and external client base, the focus being on developing new business opportunities from new clients who are potentially embedded with competitors.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aimsPlan and manage personal business portfolio & territory according to an agreed market development strategyManage and own a sales pipeline which consistently delivers above expectation resultsMaintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfactionPlan, carry out & support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketingRespond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methodsCommunicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the sales processAttend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business developmentConduct oneself in a highly professional and ethical manner, adopting behaviours that enhance the reputation of the companyProvide input into the future sales vision including new markets, new products, new customers and new ways of doing businessResponding to customer queries in a timely fashion, thereby enhancing and developing strong relationships with the customerTechnical Skills / Core CompetenciesResults orientated and focus on achieving targets and objectivesHighly motivated and self-confident in approach to roleStrong influencing skills with proven negotiating abilitiesStrong people skills and understanding what motivates peopleStrong information, fact finding and questioning abilitiesGood networking & relationship building abilitiesExcellent presentation skillsHighly comfortable with technology and online research systemsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong numeracy skillsKnowledge of our products and the legal industry preferredPersonal CharacteristicsSelf-starter, able to initiate and implement projects on own initiativeEnthusiastic to develop fresh ideas and learn new skillsAbility to build strong relationships and collaborate with key stakeholdersBenefitsCompetitive salary & OTE earningsMonthly commission structureWorking for a large blue-chip organisationFor more information about this opportunity, please apply below or send your CV
