Do you want to use the latest technologies to create simple and elegant solutions to complex problems?Do you know how application architecture should change and what supporting infrastructure you need as you migrate to the cloud?
Can you quickly deliver the robust system interfaces needed by the Agile Development teams?
If so, we want to hear from you. I am currently looking for a number of excellent Technical and Solution Architects for an award winning digital agency in London.
You have to be pragmatic, delivery-focused and able to work as a trusted technical adviser to the team that sits around you. It is necessary that you're willing to be hands-on and can balance intellectual rigour with realism. Like your peers, you have to love technology and be genuinely interested in understanding and overcoming the challenges which you face!
Within this business you will need a range of skills to perform well. You will use your broad technical knowledge, full life-cycle project exposure and excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between the client and internal delivery managers, enterprise architects, operations teams, UX consultants and developers.
So, what do you need?
This is a broad and varied role and demands the knowledge to go with it. You don't need all of the below (as they are tech agnostic) but the more the better:Capable of taking ultimate responsibility for designing and delivering one or more large scale solutions, understanding the various cross-cutting concerns such as security, performance and quality.The ability to lead cross-functional teamsCan proficiently architect solutions, including creating architectural artefacts, such as high-level designs, disaster recovery plans and support documentation in an Agile environmentA rigorous understanding of automated testingStrong development background with either Java/C#/Node.Understanding of Cloud computing, virtualisation and containerisation.The Company
You will work across both the government and the commercial sector, on some of the most challenging and interesting projects. Your success will be built on delivering quality user experiences at the time they are needed, you will care about positive outcomes even more than the technology you build. Much of the work will help vulnerable people making solutions accessible to all.
The role has an excellent salary range of £75,000 - £105,000 and also comes with an up to 20% bonus and other benefits which you would expect from an industry leader.
