An exciting career opportunity is available for a Control Systems Engineer to join a well-established company based in Southampton who are specialists in high tech automated hardware for multiple industries. This role will give you the chance to work on and with some really cutting edge equipment.Our client requires a Control Systems Engineer who already has experience programming PLC systems from scratch, the variation in technical challenges will allow you to both broaden your technical expertise and maintain that enjoyment of solving new problems and challenges which keeps work always feeling fresh. You will be working in interesting and continually evolving sectors.You would be involved in projects right from the initial specification through to in-house testing. You will be programming, developing, installing and testing PLC controller programs. Producing electrical schematic diagrams, equipment layouts, BOM and cables schedules using CAD system.This role offers a salary of £35,000 - £55,000 depending on the value you can bring to the business. You would also benefit from continual professional development which will ensure you keep up to date with industry and technological changes.
