Based in the heart of Stockport we are an award winning software house, looking to appoint an exceptional Data Platform Engineer with extensive; Linux / AWS / Python / Bash / Terraform / Puppet / DevOps knowledge to join our dynamic team. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our Linux based environment, this role will encompass both administration and configuration. You will use the latest DevOps tool (Terraform IaC, Configuration management Puppet / Chef and Python / Bash scripting) to deliver data driven projects that ensure our clients get a software solution second to none. We would love you have to have strong understanding of agile methodologies and concepts, plus and certifications with AWS would be ideal. WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…Technical knowledge of Linux / AWS / Python / Bash / Terraform / PuppetA good understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologiesCertifications with Public cloud productsITS NICE TO HAVE…Experience with data related servicesExperience with large enterprise level projectsA keen interest in getting hands on with some of the best projects around
