Test Analyst - Agile - Contract - 6 months - North West England.

My client, a leading UK University, is looking for an ISEB certified Test Analyst for an initial 6 month contract working on an Analytics Project.

You'd be working closely with Developers and Business Analysts within the University, testing a variety of large-scale learning systems and web-based projects, understanding the products processes involved and translating these into testing. You must have at least 5 years solid manual / functional testing experience, and experience with Automation using Selenium is also beneficial.

You must have:

- An understanding of MS SQL or Oracle would be preferred, with a solid knowledge of analytics / BI / databases.

- Knowledge and experience of using defect/bug tracking tools to record, track, and trace bugs raised during the testing cycle and should be able to demonstrate past experience in an Agile workflow.

- Experience in contributing to develop an Agile environment would be an advantage.

For this role, we would be looking for you to have some experience of the below:

*Agile / 3 Amigos scenario

*CI/CD in an Agile environment is a must

*Version Control (Git)

*UI & API Testing

*Database testing

*Producing test scripts and test plans

*Structured test methods and processes

*Hands on testing experience with both manual and automation

*Producing high-quality documentation

*Reporting status to project management and work closely with the development team

*Gaining and maintaining familiarity with the portfolio of existing and forthcoming products

*Identification, documentation and then tracking of issues through to a resolution

*Experience in software testing and QA activity including the creation and maintenance of efficient test procedures, templates and scripts

*SQL

*JMeter or similar

*Specflow

*Cucumber

*Gherkin

*JMeter or similar

*Coded UI

*SQL

*Classic asp testing

*Selenium

*API testing with Postman / Katalon / SoapUI
