With huge success comes the need to recruit talented individuals to take on all roles.
There is now a specific focus on bringing onboard a Quality Manager who will be key to establishing a customer-focused, zero-defect quality culture across the site while ensuring that customer requirements are met and the quality team is continually enhanced with strategy at the forefront.
Role Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development and implementation of the quality strategy
Set quality standards and manage the factory quality responsibilities
Resolve customer issues, by seeking route causes, with input from our local SAS and customer complaints system
Reduce the cost of quality by applying lean and other quality techniques to processes throughout the company
Resolve technical issues, by seeking route causes, with input from FQI, CAR and Technical complaints
Adopt new developments and initiatives in quality and apply continuous
Reduce Company costs of warranty and scrap
Reclaim the cost of poor quality from suppliers
Manage the quality team
Produce monthly factory KPIs and complete reporting requirements
Manage ISO systems compliance and audits
Essential Skills/Background:
Background in developing quality systems and culture
Demonstrable management skills
A proven working knowledge of DMAIC, FMEA, ISO 9001:2015, Food Contact regulation
Previous leadership of lean continuous improvement programmes and methods of robust implementation
Six Sigma experience
