Our client is looking for a Principal Architect to join their thriving team in London.Our client is a large entertainment organisation; they excite and inspire customers with leading innovations and technologies in the entertainment industry. They are always looking for ways to improve.This is an exciting opportunity to join our clients' team as a Senior Solutions Architect working on their Strategic Data Platform. The successful candidate will be tasked with building a new Platform. They are looking to enhance their Customer Service to; retain customers, increase customer engagement and customer insight in a Data driven way. You will join a small, close-knit team, you will be a great team player but also be ready to hit the ground running independently. Hands on, demonstrable experience:Defining data architectures (including future vision) that deliver all platform aspects of one (or more) of Personalisation, Data Analytics and Reporting systemsData warehousing, data mart, and data lake technologiesWith managed Data Analytics offerings from Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.Working with multiple product streams through the entire lifecycle in an Agile environmentWorking with self-organising Agile software development teams Mandatory Technical Skills include:Demonstrable experience of predictive modelling, NLP, text analysis, data mining and ETL toolsDemonstrable experience of machine learning and data visualisationDemonstrable experience of defining and delivering solutions using Lambda and Kappa architecturesDeep understanding of Apache Hadoop and tools such as HBase, HDFS, Spark, Hive, Solr and Kafka streamingAbility to anticipate business needs and translate them into technical solutionsAbility to conceptualise and design platforms capable of supporting multiple systems or applicationsThe ability to apply modelling techniques as needed to data, logical and physical architectures.Strong analysis and problem solving skillsGood consultancy and influencing skills, working within strong technical environmentsGood written and verbal communication skills.
