Senior Delay Analyst Senior Delay Analyst | City of London | Consultancy This is a Delay Analyst role at a Senior Consultant level with an independent construction consultancy who provide a full range of dispute resolution services from the preparation of claims. Established over 10 years ago, they have quickly grown to become a recognised and respected name within the dispute resolution sector.The successful Delay Analyst will be required to work on a variety of commissions as part of a growing team of planners and delay analysts. Key duties and responsibilities: Preparation and prospective and retrospective delay analysis over a range of projects, both construction and engineeringForensic investigation of project delays.The preparation of programmes for new construction projects, including the monitoring and resequencing of existing programmes.Preparation of written reports for use in formal dispute resolution and negotiation.Carry out 'live' planning assistance.Preparation or defence of extension of time claims on behalf of employers Requirements for this Senior Delay Analyst role: A relevant construction degree.Previous experience working for a construction consultancy.A minimum five years' experience as a construction project planner.The ability to use planning software such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Project.A good working knowledge of various standard forms of contract, including NEC and JCT.A degree of understanding of contract and law within the construction industry, with an understanding of matters relating to planning and delay.Excellent written and report writing skills.Strong oral presentation skills.
