Software Developer (JVM Java Ruby Python). Are you a passionate technologist, looking to work with other like-minded people in a supportive environment with training allowance, 10% personal development time and flexible working?

As a Software Developer at this pioneering search technology start-up you will build features across the ecosystem of products and services, both internal and client facing. You will work with other engineers to remove pain points, optimise workflows and enhance the intelligence and capabilities of the system. You'll take technical ownership and work across the full development lifecycle, seeing the impact of your work immediately. You'll work with a variety of languages and technologies and will be able to impact choices, there's a lot of new Greenfield development projects as well as optimisation and scalability work.

You'll be based in modern open plan City offices with casual dress code and friendly, informal atmosphere.

Requirements:

Ability to write code in a high level programming language such as Java, Ruby, Python

Experience of taking technical ownership of a specific application, product or infrastructure

Keen to work with new and emerging technology such as Kotlin

Collaborative nature, keen to learn and share knowledge with others

Business acumen / entrepreneurial
