Excellent opportunity for a graduate engineer to join a leading consultancy that will provide full training and opportunities to progress a long term career. On offer is a varied and technically challenging role in electrical design with a company that has a rich history in investing and progressing motivated graduates.

This company specialise have various sites across the UK and specialise in in consultancy and design in building services - providing for a range of clients across the Europe and the UK.

In this role you will work within a team of skilled electrical design engineer's, working a range of projects for clients in the design of systems such as lighting, small power, BMS, alarms and security systems that will be supplied into new and exciting buildings. You will receive training on the job in all aspects including software packages for design.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree in electrical engineering/building services or similar and have a desire to progress a long term career and be keen to learn and develop. A background in electrical design or understanding of AutoCAD or Revit would be a bonus and not essential.

This is a great role for a graduate engineer to join a company that invest heavily into your training and development and grow with the company - you will play a key part in the design team and be able to progress into senior roles further down the line.

The role:

*Liaise with clients and contractors to understand specifications

*Produce reports and specifications to interpret designs

*Use various software packages including AutoCAD, Revit and Prodesign

*Design of a range of electrical building services systems (Lighting, Fire & Security Systems, Small Power)

*Produce 2D drawings and 3D models

*Work alongside senior engineers and associates

*Graduate training provided

The person:

*Degree in electrical engineering/building services or equivalent

*Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Prodesign or Dialux (desirable)

*Electrical background or understanding (desirable)

*Good written and verbal communication skills

*Want a career as an electrical design engineer

*Keen to learn and develop
