Taking a Software Engineering led approach we're rapidly transforming into a leading UK FinTech. And it's the role of our Chief Information Office (CIO) who provide the backbone and infrastructure upon which this bank of the future will sit. We're looking for Cyber Security specialists to join a brand new Strategy team in crafting, shaping and influencing a number of Security strategies born out of our considerable Cyber Programme. Help us make it possible... In genuinely fascinating and hands-on role your activities will establish the tooling roadmaps over 1-2 year periods which ultimately will deliver our 5 year plan. What would you be doing?

You'll help create and maintain a comprehensive suite of Cyber Security Strategies

You'll evaluate software solutions and security products that underpin the strategy to help form proof of concept.

You'd undertake product comparisons - assessing capabilities with external testing organisations.

And you'll influence by spotting opportunities for new technologies or using existing ones.

You'd have responsibility for the technical relationship management for CyberSec products across multiple vendors

And you'll need to meet the requirements of various internal customers across the business.

So what about you?

You'll have experience of supporting major programmes and other project based activities at an enterprise level of scale.

You'll possess a technical background in Cyber Security with experience of assessing Cyber Toolsets

You're comfortable with and adept at influencing Cyber strategies and authoring technical documents (we'd love to see examples)

With an eye for identifying risks and prioritisation you'll also need the people skills to nurture a wide range of customer relationships.

And you'll be on trend, aware of industry developments and initiatives that might interest our wider Security Community.

Any previous Financial Services experience you have would be advantageous but you'll certainly feel at home working with Engineers and Architects. What will we provide you in return? A salary ranging from c£54k - c£63k depending on your skills and experience (to c£73k in London)
