***This is a permanent position*** A leading manufacturer is recruiting for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team near Eastbourne. Do you have experience in implementing the principles of lean manufacturing and driving production optimisation? Also leading NPI & NPD projects? If so, then you may be the engineer we're looking for.You'll be responsible for effective introduction of new products into operations, owning a manufacturing system within your respective cells by the creation, maintenance and development of continuous improvement/ LEAN processes for existing and new products to ensure operations are delivered on time to standard and within budget within the allocated manufacturing cell.I've listed the key experiences required for the vacancy:Cell/ CI leadership within in a role Lean/ process improvement is crucial - 5s, Kanban, SMED, six sigma, 8D and any other world class manufacturing principlesNPI project leadership Working with electro-mechanical products would be advantageous You'll be joining an organisation that works with a wide range of customers and prides itself on building lasting professional relationships.
