Senior Software Developer Power Electronics (m / w / d)

Your tasks:

* They identify and derive software requirements for power electronic systems from application requirements

* They plan complete software development from the assessment of feasibility, studies and simulations to implementation and qualification

* When designing, developing and integrating functions and software modules, you work closely with internal and external development partners

* They develop and document software in the field of power electronic applications

* They test and qualify development results in real-time simulation environments

* They coordinate with technical interface partners and ensure the implementation of embedding in existing and new system architectures and environments. You can also do reviews of the designs and the architecture

Your profile:

* You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a similar degree program and several years of experience in embedded software development

* They bring a wealth of experience in object-oriented programming in C / C ++ / C # for microcontrollers and / or DSPs as well as in VHDL / Verilog for FPGAs

* You have experience in the areas of code analysis and software qualification

* They have a high level of analytical and problem-solving competence, even beyond individual system areas, and like complex challenges

* They bring experience in the field of control engineering and simulation (Plecs or Matlab Simulink) and the transfer of these to embedded systems

* You are familiar with the planning and execution of test and release processes

* They provide understanding of systems in the field of power electronics, in particular with regard to fault scenarios and protection concepts, and are familiar with safety requirements (eg IEC61508, IEC62304)

* You like to work in interdisciplinary teams (hardware, software, test, product management)

* Good English skills complete your profile
