Tier 3 NOC Engineer - Remote/Germany - Shift Pattern - 6 Months My client, a leading technology company are looking for 2 Tier 3 NOC Engineers to join them working remotely on a shift basis. The role is a 6 month contract position and can offer a competitive daily rate.This senior role is to support one of the world's leading software development company's Internet access infrastructure as the highest tier of technical expert. The role involves advanced troubleshooting, complex change implementation, and working in various network management, ticketing and back-office systems. Required Skills:Candidates require extensive routing/switching knowledge and experience across both Enterprise/Data Center environments.Experience of Cisco technologies is key; Cisco IOS, IOS XR (Cat 4500/6500, ASR 1000, ASR 9000)Cisco Nexus switches (2K, 5K, 7K, 9K)A basic knowledge of Cisco ACI would also be of interest ((spine/leaf configuration, VxLAN).Exposure to Monitoring Systems (Netflow, Syslog, SNMPv2/3) as well as experience with Thousand Eyes is an advantage.A solid understanding of DNS, AD, DHCP and application flows would also be of benefit.Knowledge of ITIL best practices is also something the client are looking for as well as the ability to lead technical investigation and provide clear updates to the customer and the Major Incident Manager.Candidates will also be required to work on a shift basis (3 x 6am - 2pm, 3 x 2pm - 10pm, and then 4 days off) - No on call duty required.
