One of the United Kingdom's leading waste-to-product businesses is seeking a Project Manager to play an integral role in the continuous development of their waste-to-energy facility within the Yorkshire region. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, growing organisation responsible for playing a key role in the country's waste recycling and power generation requirements.Scope of workWorking from their West Yorkshire facility, as Project Manager you will play an important role in leading a series of major projects within the lifecycle programme, comprising of the installation and upgrade of waste processing technology and infrastructure on-site. Supporting the company's implementation of their programme management strategy, you will innovate and collaborate with internal stakeholders throughout the company as you seek to enhance site performance, maintenance, compliance and commercial efficiency.As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of projects ranging in value from anywhere between £50,000 to £1.5m, ensuring they are planned and delivered on-time and to budget, in line with organisational requirements. This will involve overseeing projects at all phases of the project lifecycle from design and procurement through to construction and hand-over to operation.Using your experience in the delivery of projects on live, operational processing facilities, you will liaise with internal stakeholders such as Operations to co-ordinate time for site works and minimise disruption. You will also be accountable for building and leading high-performing cross-function projects teams to deliver these projects.In the role of Project Manager you will also manage time, cost and risk using an established project management framework, monitoring and reporting on progress against agreed parameters. The role is based from their West Yorkshire facility but may involve travel to sites further afield from time-to-time.You will:Be experienced delivering projects in a live, operational process engineering facilityBe qualified with a technical engineering skillset (HNC/HND/Degree-level) in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.Able to work from their West Yorkshire facility and be comfortable travelling to project sites further afield when required.The companyA global organisation at the forefront of waste-to-energy and recycling within the United Kingdom, this business has a presence in a number of countries across Europe and North America, offering an extensive range of experience across waste management and energy services.Why apply?The company is paying a basic salary of £40,000-£45,000 with a car allowance, highly competitive contributory pension and holiday of 25 days + 8 Stats.If you meet the above criteria and would like to be considered for this role, please apply immediately.
