I) Designs large and complex systems through effective collaboration with business users and technology colleagues II) Translates existing technology components into recommended AWS based equivalents based on technical, support and commercial considerations III) Develop transitional roadmaps to support migration from on-premise to AWS based solutions IV) Create and contribute to low-level designs describing the topology of AWS components including security and networking V) Provide technical guidance to support technical spikes and proof of concepts using Amazon based services VI) Translates complex multi system business requirements into workable solutions in line with organisation standards VII) Evaluates and undertakes impact analysis on major design options and assesses and manages associated risks. Ensures that the system design balances functional, service quality and systems management requirements VIII) Supports the development and continuous improvement of organisation information services IX) Produces detailed component specifications and translates these into detailed design for implementation. X) Assists with the preparation of technical plans and ensures appropriate technical resources are available.
