Java JEE Developer vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:6+ years working experience in Java programming Domain knowledge in JEE as well as 3+ years practical experience in one or more areas like Software engineering, GNU/Linux systems engineering and administration, System engineering or Automation of existing and new IT processesExpertise in technologies such as Python, Bash, databases, docker, HTTP protocol in compliance with a solid understanding of security principles as TLS or Authentication ProtocolsKnowledge of GIT, JIRA and Scrum methodLanguages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plusYour tasks:Developing and enhancing the DBaaS platform along with providing a high degree of automation and high-quality functionalities for the clientsBeing part of PaaS team and contributing to the development and improvement of the DBaaS platform as well as providing a high degree of automation and high-quality functionalities for the consumersTesting of all software components, continuously improving the DBaaS CI/CD pipeline and toolsetsStandardising the in-house developed tooling, REST API developments, security designs, code reviews and platform engineeringOperating in-line with the principles of Site Reliability and DevOpsStart: 08/2019
