About the role

The Business Operations Manager will ensure that the Society's technology systems and services remain operational and fit-for-purpose. The post holder will manage and deliver high quality technical support for the Society's systems and services to ensure that strategic objectives in line with our new strategy, ‘the New Deal on Dementia' can be delivered. A champion of high-quality support the post holder will manage the operation, support and go-live of all technology Business-As-Usual (BAU) systems and services, ensuring that Society technology services have the maximum possible availability, are professionally supported and continually fit for purpose.

Responsible for the technical delivery of a number of large support suppliers and their support services, the Business Operations manager will ensure that all delivered applications, systems and services operate in line with agreed Service Levels and are appropriately measured and managed. This role is also responsible for managing major incidents, problems and ensuring that users have a channel to highlight or escalate delivery challenges.

About you

You will have a proven track record of leading the delivery of BAU operations and all IT services, systems and support in a large organisation. You will have demonstrable experience of line managing of support staff and ownership of a wide range of suppliers, including large and critical service suppliers.
