Lead Data Scientist CoventryPublic Sector We are currently recruiting for a Digital Service Manager to join our large public sector client in Coventry to inspire and focus the delivery of data science teams on high value opportunities, championing both technical and data innovation, owning senior stakeholder relationships and developing wider networks with the Department, other Departments and other relevant organisations.Essential SkillsAcademic background in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science or similar experience and aptitude.Practical experience in leading innovative, data driven solutions on large or complex data sets including gathering disparate data, extensive data manipulation and iteration of analytical techniques.Developed data science delivery frameworks for major projects that meet business goals (e.g. cost, quality or policy intent) through the application of data insights.Demonstrating the ability to think innovatively and proactively to win over senior stakeholders.Experience in creating capability (people and technology) to deliver repeatable/ reusable 'products' and tools which embed analytics into business operations or strategic decision making.Stays current with the relevant data science trends and their relative merits across areas such as data manipulation, data visualisation, data analytics and machine learning.Confident public speaker, used to delivering complex insights in a compelling and succinct way tailored to the audience and a recognised profile amongst the data science, analytical and/ or digital community.
