Systems Support Analyst / LAN/WAN / Windows Server 2012/2016 / Windows 10 / SQL / VMware / Contract / 6 Months / East Midlands

The client:

*The client is seeking a Systems Support Analyst on a contract basis within there East Midlands Office.

The Responsibilities:

*Providing 1st line technical support and problem analysis/rectification

*Upgrade and update hardware/software to meet user requirements

*Ensure communication stability/performance of the LAN/WAN

*Provide support for mobile peripheral devices.

*Plan and perform appropriate preventative maintenance

The Requirements

*Experience in a 1st to 3rd line support

*Experience in IT System Support Environment

*Hardware skills: HP Servers, Cisco wired and wireless infrastructures and Dell/HP Workstations & Laptops.

*Software skills: Windows Server 2012/ 2016, Windows 10 Workstations & MS Office 365, Microsoft SQL 2012/2016, Avamar backup software

*Communication: Cisco networking experience including Switches and Wireless Access points, TCP/IP protocol, VPN (Pulse/DUO), DHCP, DNS & Routing

Qualifications

*MCITP /MCTS SQL 2008 (or above)

*MCSE/MCP Windows 2008 (or above)
