IT Security Consultant ReadingStart Date: ASAP My Client, a major International telecoms and network company, are currently looking for an IT Security Consultant to join a project to remediate a number of vulnerabilities and assist in the migration of the application to reduce maintenance costs. As the IT Security Consultant your responsibilities will include:Learn the Architecture, function and technical details of IPUP application through reverse engineeringUnderstand the Fortify security scan method and tech detailsUnderstand the Security scan vulnerabilities detailRemediate the Security scan vulnerabilitiesLearn the Architecture, function and technical details of the eSource sub systemCreate Architecture and Design to Migrate the IPUP application and eSource subsystemCode to Migrate the IPUP application and eSource subsystemUnit Testing of the Migrated codeDevelop the new Interfaces for IPUP and eSourceWork with environment and Test teams to System test the migrated functionalityEngage International Business groups to plan and co-ordinate test verification and production implementationEngage other interfacing IT teams to plan and co-ordinate test verification and production implementationPlan and coordinate Production ImplementationSupport Production ImplementationSupport Post Production ImplementationFix migration related production issues after implementation Key skills required: Java 7Common Java libraries like Apache commons as well as common Java specifications/frameworks like JDBC and ServletsJavaScriptJava Server Pages (JSP)Oracle 11SQL and PL/SQLUnix - SUN OS and LinuxUnix/Linux Shell ScriptsOracle iPlanet Web Server - 7.0.27SingleView version 9/10 Desired skills:Java 8Oracle 12Apache Ant, MavenOracle iPlanet as defacto application server, Apache Tomcat 8.5 for the future (at least in case of RACER)HPE Fortify (running scans, using AWB to identify issues and remediation recommendations)Jenkins for build & deploymentPHPHTMLAgile development methodology
