As an established and trusted recruitment partner to this highly prestigious global organisation in Dubai, we have been asked to assist in the recruitment of the senior role of the Data Scientist Team Lead. This organisation is known across the globe and serves over 60 countries worldwide. This is a very appealing opportunity to take on a senior position within a world-renowned group headquartered in the innovative city of Dubai.

You will be required to manage and drive data science projects through the application of mathematical modelling, machine learning, problem structuring and big data analysis. You will need to have excellent skills in computer science, mathematics, statistics and creative problem-solving.

You will be a highly focused and motivated individual with a pro-active attitude, able to transcend the world of theory through the extraction of knowledge and insights from data and bring it to life in the business context.

Skills and Experience Required

-Management of Data Science / Analytics Teams

-Big Data Technologies (Apache Spark and Apache Hadoop Ecosystem)

-Deep Learning Frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, etc.)

-SQL, R, Python

-Code Repositories and Containers based frameworks (Git and Docker)

-Working with DevOps and Engineering Teams

-Collaborating with Academic Researchers, Business Stakeholders, and IT Teams

-Building Libraries and Packages (to be re-used by others)

-Building DS Solutions (for production use)

-Strong Team Player with Excellent Problem Solving Abilities

-Leadership and Delivery of advanced analytical projects in large and complex organisations

-Challenge and Review the quality and value generated from analytical output

-MSc or PhD in Data Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Science, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Economics or similar

Your visa (if required) will also be arranged free of charge.

This opportunity is a long term, open-ended contract with a guaranteed minimum term of 12 months. Depending on the number of years' experience, prior level of work and experience of the required skills we estimate the successful candidate can expect monthly rates from AED 70,000 to AED 90,000 (£15,000 to £19,500).
