If you can bring enterprise Java development / Integration Engineering skills and familiarity with REST API, this great opportunity will enable you to work alongside a highly skilled technical team and with some of the latest technology, concepts and methodologies.Your duties will include:
Developing integration solutions for new and existing clients.Gaining exposure to all layers of platform and infrastructure components while working with on REST API and messaging (MQ), giving you the opportunity to build on your skill set while onboarding clients and delivering integration capability to this platform.To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
A fully flexible Engineer / Developer but with core skills in enterprise Java.Able to learn and adapt quickly to multiple languages and technologies.Familiarity with interface design (REST API / MQ Messaging).Have some experience in an Agile/XP environment (and associated tools).Knowledge of commodities.Experience with CI/Automation (desirable, not essential).Computer Science or be an Engineering graduate (desirable, not essential).Previous exposure to the following will be a real advantage but willingness and embracing new technology is key:
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code.An understanding of Distributed Ledger technology (Ethereum).An understanding of Distributed concepts.Some experience with UI/UX (React).As the Java Developer / Integration Engineer (REST API), you will receive a salary of up to £70,000 per annum according to experience plus pension, benefits allowance, bonus package, training and development events.
