Application Support AnalystLivingston£30,000-£32,000I am currently working with a globally leading solutions provider who is looking to make a permanent addition of a talented Application Support Analyst to their team. This organisation provide tailored, innovative solutions across both a local and global level. My client has won multiple awards for their service in their industry, along with holding numerous accreditation's for their high standards and commitments to their business activities. Therefore, you will be joining a well-respected business.This specific opportunity is a great opportunity for someone that is interested in supporting clients with issues reported and seeing the cases to resolution and this role will work collaboratively with team members to problem solve issues. Reporting to the Lead Developer, you will be providing application maintenance and support to minimise service disruption and to facilitate day to day operations across all UK sites. You will be joining an existing team made up of Developers, Help Desk Support and Infrastructure engineers within a lively, pro-active team. Your working day will be Monday- Friday 08:00-5:30 and you will be working on call very rarely.Main responsibilitiesInvestigating software problems diagnosing root causes and work on finding permanent solutions to fix these problemsUnderstanding in depth the business processes supported by the systemEnsure continuity of business processesMaintain production environments relating to online services; including development, stage and production systems60% Application Support with 40% Application Development (C#, .NET)Essential skills2 years+ with C# and .NET Framework (3.5 and above)Strong understanding of Object Orientated ProgrammingExperience of ASP.NET, MVC, Web Forms, SOAP based web services and RESTful API'sGood SQL Server skills with knowledge of SQL and T-SQLWeb development languages including HTML, CSS and JavaScript with experience of the frameworks jQuery and BootstrapStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCustomer focused insightEnthusiastic and positive approach to workTo find out more information and to register your interest in this position, please forward your CV directly to [email protected] or alternatively, please call my direct line on 0191 5000036 to find out more.
