Service Manager: London, £45,000 + company benefits on a 12 months FTC This company is looking to introduce a critical national programme into live service operations from two legacy services. This is a fantastic opportunity for a service manager to develop and manage the delivery of a transition approach enabling LEDs implementation, including dependencies across technical, data migration and business change. The ideal candidate for this role will help to mobilise, plan and lead the transition activities to progress the programmes objectives by adhering to the internal governance/delivery assurance processes. Becoming a member of the programme's senior leadership team, reporting directly to the programme's director. In order to be eligible for this opportunity you must be able and prepared to undergo security clearance, in addition to this you will undergo Non-Policing Police Vetting (NPPV-3). Working for this company you will assist the development of service design and transition documentations, and the management of the E2E delivery of service management activities such as:You will be involved in stakeholder engagement activities with HODDat Enterprise Services, external suppliers, policing and non-policing organisations.You will be supporting commercial teams to source any capability gaps and contract changes.You will support technical and security teams through the accreditation process and provide related input. What is this company looking for from you?You will have had expertise in transition of Legacy services to successful delivery within a programme covering the required work-streams' such as: technical delivery, test, service management, readiness, communication, cutover, early life supportYou will have had prior experience of delivering transformation outcomes for national organisations working in complex and highly regulated environments.You will have had experience in shaping and planning transition activities that include governance cycles and dependencies within the broader programme roadmap.You will have has pro-active management of internal and external controls incl. but not limited to RAID.You will have built and maintained relationships with key stakeholders and managed stakeholders expectations through appropriate communications, reporting assurance and governance in the past.You will have supported the commercial and procurement teams in service contract renewals, changes, extensions and/or new requirements.You will have had ITIL an service management experience in the implementation of a service design for enterprise and you will be able to apply ITIL processes when transitioning to a range of service groups.You will have has experience in the past of working in blended, multi-discipline, multi-vendor teams environments. What project methodologies must you be competent in?Agile delivery, waterfall and Agile at scaleFrom a business perspective it would be nice for you to have:An understanding of the law enforcement landscapeExperience in overall financial management, control and stewardship of the IT assets and resources used in the provision of IT services
