Infrastructure Manager | up to circa 55,000 | London

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are looking for an Infrastructure Manager to join our client; a forward thinking, not for profit organisation that provides information & data management solutions.

If you are currently working as an IT Services Manager, IT Manager, 4th Line Engineer, Senior Infrastructure Engineer or Technical Lead : this could be the perfect job opportunity for you.

THE BASICS:

As the Infrastructure Manager / IT Services Manager you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and secure operation of our clients public website and private portal products. In addition, you will take the lead on server administration, network administration, IT security, end user computing support, telephony systems and vendor management.

A thorough working knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Stack is important.

THE TECHNICAL STUFF:

Our clients estate is almost exclusively hosted in Microsofts Azure public cloud so you must be familiar with Microsoft Azure or analogous environments such as AWS or Google Cloud.

We are looking for individuals with experience of infrastructure management and IT service delivery experience, against a backdrop of managing Microsoft Azure, server & network administration, backup and recovery.

Hands on working experience with AD & SSL administration, DNS & IT Security are also vital components of this role.

THE OTHER STUFF:

As part of your role responsibility, you will guide 2nd line team member(s), ensuring that tickets are attended to promptly according to agreed priority classification, whilst providing technical assistance to the organisation to facilitate maintaining various accreditations, in particular; ISO27001.

THE CONCLUSION:

Technical leaders with hands on server and network administration, system security, vendor management and client services experience who can also display a commitment to working positively within a framework guided by certified information standards and information sharing protocols should APPLY TODAY.

IT Security qualifications and/or experience of relevant frameworks (e.g. COBIT) and /or ITIL beyond Foundation will be desirable.
