Director of Engineering (Online Marketplace) £160,000 - £200,000 + Bonus and EquityWe are seeking a Director of Engineering to join one of the UKs fastest growing online marketplaces using AI and Machine Learning technologies to build a smart discovery engine and help scale high traffic web products in a LAMP stack environment through a period of rapid expansion.As the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for a period of hyper-growth within the team, after a hugely successful round of funding. You will be tasked with improving the productivity and effectiveness of a relatively new and very talented development team, including large scale recruitment for 2019. Skills required for the Director of Engineering:Experienced technology leader with demonstrable experience leading and growing large Engineering teamsA very strong technical background with and delivering high-quality SoftwareEvolvement with recruitment, monitoring and reporting against performance metricsExperience with LAMP stack (PHP), AWS and QA teams would be beneficial but not essentialDirector of Engineering (Online Marketplace) Salary: £160,000 - £200,000 + Bonus and EquityLocation: London
