Business Analyst - Sussex - + Benefits

This global leader in their field is looking for a business analyst to join their Systems Implementation and Support team.

They are currently rolling out a major new business system across the group with plans for phase 2 of the implementation in place.

The successful candidate can expect to work on a variety of projects, including business system implementations, upgrades, user support and software testing.

Responsibilities:

- Support the implementation of a new ERP solution.

- Perform Business process analysis and conduct reviews and gap analysis in order to identify opportunities.

- Build user stories, process flow diagrams and data flow models

- Technical consultancy and troubleshooting, including; data analysis, integrity checking.

- Create detailed test plans, execute test scripts and document results.

- Input into project planning and ongoing project management.

Technical skills required:

In depth knowledge of business analysis techniques (UML)

- Experience in software testing.

- Exposure to project management methodologies eg Prince 2

- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (desirable)

- Knowledge of Epicor ERP system (desirable)

Other skills/experience

- Good analytical and problem solving skills.

- Experience of working in manufacturing company

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident, professional attitude.

- Experience of implementing and supporting production systems, complying with structured change-control procedures

- Prepared to travel both in the UK and occasionally abroad. - A driving licence is required.

- Must be able to work in a small team.

- Must be proactive.

- Knowledge and exposure to the business system development lifecycle.
