Supporting an expanding company with their offices north of Aberdeen City, we are looking for a Workshop Supervisor/ Offshore Supervisor.The company are looking to hire on an initial contract basis, with view to move into a permanent role. Our client has operated for the last 10 years and in the last 4 years has expanded their UKCS operations. Some of their products are innovative and new to the market, offering something different to the services companies. It is expected that you have experience with Cutting tools, decommissioning or rig up experience but a good offshore technician experience as a whole. Attitude is very important ant for our client. The challenges will be varied, it is expected you will fix problems by working with resources available internally and externally ( i.e contacting a fabricator or third party to support with something).You will be involved in ensuring health & safety is at forefront the role, relying on your experience. The client's preference is someone with a Mechanical bias as they have just hired an electrical and a hydraulic tech. You must have recent experience of leading a Workshop & Operations.Trips offshore will be every quarter (you need to have your offshore certificates, or get them within the next 6 weeks).
