Information Security ManagerChester£65,000 ShortList Recruitment are working with an industry leading business who are looking for an Information Security Manager to join a fast-growing business to follow best practise in all areas of Information Security, helping to establish a robust framework of policies and practises that keep security at the core of the business. The focus of the Information Security Manager role is leading the development and delivery of the cyber security strategy for the business. The Information Security Manager will help establish an ISO27001 aligned governance approach. The Information Security Manager will work closely with the IT Architecture and Operations functions to ensure the company adopts proper security practices in Software Development and Deployment, and that network infrastructures are properly hardened.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain the Information Security Policy and related Policies, ensuring that the systems and controls are in place to drive adoption throughout the organisation.Adopt a risk-based approach to security assessment providing advice and challenge to the business.Liaise with stakeholders and c-level executives regarding security matters and procedures.Ensuring compliance with all Data Protection and Privacy matters.Advise and challenge the creation and delivery of the Cyber Security Program, ensuring that the Cyber program is in line with the objectives of IT and Cyber Risks.Security Incident support including analysis and management; liaising with staff and external agencies as required.Maintain awareness of current and emerging threats and technologiesOversee internal and external Security testing, including selection and management of testing agencies as required.Advise and challenge the company's software development lifecycle, reviewing system requirements and designs to assure that threats have been identified and secure design principles are applied throughout the service lifecycle.Desirable Skills and ExperienceStrong commercial background in cyber security and complianceExperience implementing security frameworks such as ISO27001 and PCI-DSS,Experience managing external Service ProvidersProject planning, management and delivery skills within the context of a broader cyber security programIdeally hold, (or be working to) a CISM, CISSP, CISA or CRISC qualification.This role comes with a great benefits package including a contributory pension, great holidays, flexible working hours.The Information Security Manager role is based in Chester and is easily commutable from Liverpool, Warrington, Wirral, Runcorn and North Wales. The salary on offer for this role is £65,000.
