IT & Business Relationship Manager

Spring are working in partnership with a forward thinking exciting organisation looking to recruit an IT & Business Relationship Manager to complete their thriving team within Sheffield

£41k - £48k - dependant upon experience

As an IT & Business Relationship Manager working in a large, complex organisation, your role will be to support the relationship between a world class IT team and a major organisational department. This role is pivotal in representing IT requirements and priorities within the IT teams, raising the profile of the IT team within the departments and most importantly breaking down barriers.

Your focus will be on stakeholder engagement, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and management teams for all IT matters, building and managing relationships and aligning local strategy to that of the IT department and the wider organisational goals. You will be a strategic partner integral to the evolution of IT strategy and provision of quality IT systems, services and support, enabling colleagues to perform to a high standard.

With excellent personal and communication skills, you will be required to produce and present information to colleagues at all levels within IT and departments, to inform and align strategies. Working with the other IT and Business Relationship Managers you will shape IT services, operations and working practices across the whole company leading to a more consistent IT experience for all.

You will need:

*Experience and understanding of IT in a large and complex Organisation

*Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, report writing skills, experience of delivering presentations; communicating to staff at all levels the organisation's strategic plan and their personal contribution towards it

*Highly developed and effective influencing skills

*Ability to develop creative approaches to problem solving

*Ability to analyse, solve problems and make informed decisions with an appreciation of longer-term implications

*Ability to develop and promote IT policies across multiple business areas within an organisation

*Experience of a range of project management approaches

*Experience of service management frameworks, such as ITIL
