Java Software Engineer (FX Real-time Low Latency). Global Investment Bank is seeking a Java Software Engineer with Front Office trading systems experience. You will join a small, highly talented Agile team of software developers responsible for the banks' FX trading platform. The global platform is relatively new and operates out of London, New York and Hong Kong; there are several upcoming projects mainly on trade booking services and a major upgrade of the Front Office trading system.

As a Java Software Engineer you will take ownership and work directly with Front Office users and analysts to understand the business; develop to specifications; assist in coordinated testing and aid in the deployment and post deployment support of the solution developed. As you develop strong, interactive working relationships you will be an important participant in the commercial success of the business.

Fantastic offices based in central London.

Requirements:

*Indepth knowledge of core Java

*Experience of low latency, high throughput, globally distributed systems

*Finance experience, ideally in a Front Office environment with exposure to the business

*Advocate of Agile development methodologies, TDD

*Excellent communication skills
