This company supplies real time energy data to traders, power utilities and generators by processing raw data from all power stations in the UK and Europe wide. With their industry insights and complex analysis they provide projections into the future using applications and systems development.

Their data insights are relied on throughout the energy industry from Government think tanks and industrial giants influencing every level, right down to the prices paid by end consumers.

They have offices in the North East of England, London and The Netherlands.

You will work with the team to;

- develop and create new systems to interface with electricity markets across Europe

- work on their current web-based platform and market leading tools for traders and other market parties in European energy markets

Ideally you will have a degree in Computer Science, or related qualification, and/or relevant experience in the following areas;

- Java

- Javascript

- SQL/PostgresSQL

- Google Web Toolkit (GWT)

- Vaadin

- Eclipse

- Gradle/Maven

- Linux

- Tomcat

All levels of experience are considered. The team compliments each other with their collective knowledge and skills, they are looking for the right candidate to add to the teams talent.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
