Project Manager - ITIL - Prince2 - APMQ - Matrix Management - IT - Implementation - Procurement - StakeholdersIT project manager with strong IT project management, IT system procurement, programme transformation and stakeholder experience as well as a prince2 or APM qualification (or equivalent) for a 12 month contract role in Oxford.£300 per day Oxford12 Months ContractThe client is an extremely well known entity based in Oxford City Centre with an urgent requirement for an IT Project Manager. Your immediate responsibility will be for the successful planning, implementation, monitoring and closure of an ICT procurement project to deliver process transformation within a wider change programme, so experience in this will be essential.This will require:Successful planning and delivery of the project within time and cost constraints to meet the quality required; create a sense of urgency for deliveryProject documentation including project plan, timelines, risks, issues and decisions, and agree project mitigationsClose liaison with internal and external stakeholders including finance, ICT, procurement, and lead regular project meetingsRegular reporting to the project sponsor and escalation of risks and issues where appropriateTranslation of technical process requirements into system architecture requirementsResponsibility for ensuring internal and statutory procurement regulations are adhered toTo be accountable for the quality and schedule of project deliverables as defined by the business caseManage the change control processEssential Experience:Proven IT project management experiencePRINCE2 Practicioner and/or APMQExperience of being an effective member of project teams working in a matrix management environmentExcellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, and ability to relate to and work at all levels of the organisationHigh level analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate complex written and statistical informationDefining project scope, impacts, costs, deliverables and schedule.
