Our Ideal Candidate:Knowledge of working within a QA environmentDefect identification and reporting KnowledgeCollaboration with development, product and business teams in defining and understanding requirements and implementationKnowledge in extracting test scenarios, devising test cases and executing these using a range of techniquesKnowledge working with an Agile development and testing environmentPassion and drive to develop skills with test automation toolsets and processesLocated within a commutable distance to Birchwood, Warrington
Your Responsibilities:In collaboration with the rest of the team, define, maintain, document and execute test cases to drive the quality of the product forwards with each new releaseDesign of automated desktop and web based tests to support execution across a range of configurationsWork as part of dynamic sprint teams to establish an understanding of deliverables, drive quality requirements and ensure that these are metDesign and execution of manual test cases, demonstrating traceability to source requirementsAssessment of requirements and deriving of appropriate test scenarios to provide optimal and efficient test coverageProvide leadership and mentoring to other team membersInvestigate, analyse and assist in implementing new testing technologies to enhance the quality processIdentification of defects followed by clear and concise reporting of such issuesMaintenance and continuous enhancement of automated test collateral in an ever-evolving product environmentAssessment of requirements and deriving of appropriate test scenarios to provide optimal and efficient test coverage
