They are a Fortune Global 500 company, ranked 287 in 2016, and also listed in Forbes Global 2000, ranked 176 in 2016.Role - As a Scientific Software Engineer, you will have an opportunity to work for a very technical team in charge of creating web services to model petrochemical processing units. These services are exposed as REST APIs in the Google Cloud Platform. Understanding of back-end web development, Devops, implementation of numerical algorithms and a general solid mathematical and physics background is required. Prior experience with thermodynamics, fluid physics or chemical industry is also essential as the definition and implementation of new process models require the understanding of fluids and state changes given pressure and temperature.Technologies - Golang, .Net Core, Java, C++, Python, Test Automation (Cucumber, Selenium, Specflow), TeamCity, VSTS, Azure DevOps, GCP, Docker, KubernetesApply by the 17th June for immediate consideration!
