Head of Infrastructure and Technology Services

£45,354 to £48,308 p.a.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technology expert to set and deliver a vision and strategy for IT Services, Facilities, Infrastructure and Systems.

The successful candidate will lead on all aspects of the Group IT function and IT security and will ensure that the IT support meets excellent levels of service for both staff and students. You will have a proven record of integrating business applications which supports the timely and accurate production of both routine and bespoke reports. You will also lead on change management projects and business cases for investments and value.

We are looking for an excellent commercial negotiator with strong Influencing skills with significant IT management experience. Desirable is experience of the post 16 education sector, but we welcome candidates who are managing complex subcontracted or outsourced services, including leading tendering on exercises.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for all implementation an effective governance structure for IT across the College. This post requires a strong, supportive, clear, open and flexible leader who can deliver on Strategy, Vision and Planning.
