Cyber Security Analyst We have the chance for a Cyber Security Analyst to join a leading public-sector organisation based on Buckingham Palace Road, London, as they have recently implemented an enhanced set of security tools to identify and respond to security events and now require a specialist to manage and develop security operations processes and help assure compliance with information security standards & controls across the business.The Cyber Security Analyst job will be an initial 2-year fixed-term position, although there is a high chance of a permanent opportunity for the right person based on previous experience!The position of Cyber Security Analyst will involve: Responding to both security incidents and events logged by staff members, monitoring tools and security partners.Collating information from monitoring tools as well as third parties to provide an accurate view of the current security position of the organisation.Educating and advising team members on the handling security threats e.g. suspicious emails.Creating documentation around policies, procedures and events.Key skills required for the Cyber Security Analyst job:Experience with Microsoft Cloud Services (in particular Azure and Office 365)Good knowledge of security concepts, such as: Identity & Access Management.Email/Network/Endpoint/Application security.Vulnerability Management.Encryption.Strong experience with security toolsets, such as SIEM, DLP & IDS/IPS.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cyber Security Analyst to join a high-profile organisation so don't miss out and apply now!
