Senior M&E Cost ConsultantSenior M&E Cost Consultant | Consultancy | Central London This is a Senior M&E Cost Consultant vacancy with a leading global consultancy. This firm work across the private and public sectors, delivering projects from conception to completion in the commercial, residential, healthcare, education, government, retail and leisure sectors.This company are renowned for supporting their staff through ongoing training and professional development - an ideal place Senior Quantity Surveyors looking to fast track their career working on large scale and complex projects. Initially, the successful SQS will be working within an experienced team who are responsible for delivering the cost management services on the restoration and renewal of the Palace of West Minster. The programme of works will consist of M&E repair/restoration work to make sure that the Palace remains habitable and a safe place to work. Requirements for this Senior M&E Cost Consultant position:Experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor (cost manager) with relevant experience in Mechanical and Electrical Services Quantity SurveyingMust have a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or a relevant degree.A track record of working with teams and training/ mentoring junior staffExperienced in technical deliveryProven ability to communicate confidently with clients, contractors and consultantsA clear focus on developing client accounts and forging new business relationships.Previous experience working for a construction consultancy or an end client.Demonstrate the ability to control and monitor a variety of projects simultaneously.Experience leading heritage/historic projects will be advantageousIt will be advantageous if you are a member of MIET, MCIBSE or MIMechE. Remuneration for this Senior M&E Cost Consultant position: £60,000 - £75,000 per annum (depending on experience)Competitive benefits package.
