Job Role - PMO Co-ordinator
Location: Barrow-In-Furness
Initial Duration: 6 Months
Role Summary
* Support project management processes, procedures, tools and techniques
* From supplied planning and actual data, use spreadsheet and project management software to maintain and support detailed work breakdown structures and project networks.
* Produce planned and updated project and summary reports, including cost breakdowns and summaries
* Maintain and support programme and project files
* Maintain and support project performance metric data and estimating models. Assist with reviews on models and recommends changes
* Maintain and support project and programme change control. Review processes and recommends changes
* PMO processes, procedures, tools and techniques
* Support the project development life-cycle and typical issues associated with the implementation of IT projects
* Maintain the principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation
* Maintain reporting progress and financial conformance against an agreed plan
* Maintain planning and monitoring progress of projects. Examples: product/work breakdown structures, resource analysis, conflict resolution

* Demonstrate excellence in oral and written communication

* Must have keen sense of urgency, tolerance and flexibility - and be adaptable to change
* Preferable Prince2/P30 qualification
The successful candidate will hold active SC clearance or be eligible and willing to undergo the relevant checks.
