Skills requirementsProven working experience as a project managerSolid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills Technical Experience and QualificationsAPMP / PRINCE II certification - EssentialKnowledge of International Trade Controls - US, UK, EMEA & APAC - Desirable Project OverviewAs ASSC Project Manager you will be required to drive the implementation of policy compliance to UK and international trade and export control legislation, including The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (which are two important United States export control laws) that affect the manufacturing, sales and distribution of articles and technology by using project management techniques to ensure stakeholder engagement, communications and embedding of solutions. Developing project scope and objectivesUse appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costsPerform risk management to minimise project risksEvaluate the success of the project against its benchmarking and share lessons or best practice with the organisation and other project managers.Ensuring technical feasibility,Develop a detailed project plan to track progressMeasure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniquesCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation Accountability for:Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of the ASSC projectEnsure that the project is delivered on-time and within scope For further information on this contract, please contact Stephen Slade on 0161 924 3959
