Reporting Analyst

Spring Technology are working in partnership with a fantastic organisation based in Sheffield to recruit a highly talented Reporting Analyst, working in a complex data environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Data Reporting Analyst take a leading role in complex projects. This strategically important project will deliver major changes across a wide variety of based projects.

The ideal candidate will have significant data analysis skills and be able to liaise/communicate at multiple levels of business.

This post is a fixed term one that ends in October 2019.

Ideal candidate skills / experience:

* Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences, working to common goals

* Previous work experience on advanced business analytics, including advanced Microsoft Excel functionality comprising pivot tables, vlookups, linked spreadsheets, advanced formulas, etc.

* Demonstrable experience of database reporting tools and query languages e.g. T-SQL

* Degree educated or demonstrable equivalent experience in a relevant area

* Demonstrable experience and understanding of writing strategic, operational and statutory reports

* Ability to successfully identify and document information systems, processes and data flows

* Experience of data modelling techniques
