AWS DEVOPS ENGINEER / CONTRACT / LEEDS AWS DEVOPS ENGINEER - CONTRACT - LEEDS Location: Central Leeds, YorkshireContract length: 6 monthsRate: competitive A very exciting DevOps Engineer contract opportunity for one of the UKs leaders in clinical IT systems and software in Leeds looking to migrate heavily into AWS. We are looking for an intuitive and passionate DevOps Engineer to take on the challenge of a .Net to AWS infrastructure. The business is seeking a professional able to apply their skill to promote the companies availability, performance, scalability, and security on the AWS platform. Necessary project relevant experience:Migrating infrastructure and applications from on premises infrastructure and other cloud platforms to AWS. Deploying, automating, maintaining, scaling and AWS cloud-based production to ensure the systems highest security, availability, and performance.Collaborating with the relevant teams and stakeholders in a DevOps context.An ability to undertake performance testing to help ensure deployments of products and services are to the highest quality and services.Troubleshooting and problem solving.An ability to visualise logical infrastructure and application improvements and materialise these.Experience in networking and load balancing. Technical Skills Required:AWS service stack (EC2, ECS, EKS, VPC, EBS, Route 53, AWS WAF, AWS ALB, ELB, Network ACLS, among many others others)Gitlab CI, Terraform, Packer, Python, Vault Container and orchestration tools, Docker and Kubernetes TerraformLambdaHands-on experience administering the Maven build tool and a modern source code versioning tool such as GitExperience with configuration management and automation tools such as Chef or Ansible.
