DATA AND INFORMATION ARCHITECT

My public sector client based in Leeds requires a Data and Information Architect to join their Greenfield programme.

As the Data and Information Architect you will be responsible for the strategic design of Information and Data across the programme.

Requirements of Data and Information Architect:

*Conceptual and Logical Data Modelling using defined standards (e.g. UML, Martin, Merise)

*Working knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman)

*Familiarity with reporting and visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI, SSRS, Tableau, etc)

*Working knowledge of at least one EA/Data architecture tool (e.g. Avolution, iServer, Qualiware, etc)

*ETL tools and methods

*Past experience in advising on data utilisation within MI and BI

*Familiar with ITSM and CMDB

*Able to define appropriate security and backup procedures

*Migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions

*Comfortable explaining the role of Information Asset Owners

*Able to analyse and explain the data flows across an enterprise

*Past implementation of data quality processes

*Working knowledge of appropriate legislation
