My client is looking for forward thinking, creative individuals who want to make a difference and help us achieve our ambitious goals. This will involve utilising the latest technology from Microsoft, including but not limited to No-Sql databases, cognitive services and big data platform with the view of shaping the company's future with a market leading solution.

The Role

*Support all programming departments

*Development of high-quality database solutions

*Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL

*Investigate, correct and provide insight on system issues

*Develop procedures and scripts for data ingestion/migration

*Help support of a cross-functional team responsible for Software Engineering, Testing, Service Reliability and Service Management.

*You will be encouraged and expected to be proactive and bring ideas forward

*Attend industry led events as and when required

*Any other duties as reasonably required

The Person

Essential:

*5+ Years of commercial background working with SQL Server 2008/2014+

*Strong communicator

*Positive and technically minded

Desirable:

*Significant experience of delivering and supporting highly available sites/services which operate 24x7 globally on cloud infrastructure.

*Experience with Cloud vendors ideally Microsoft Azure
