Excellent opportunity to join a growing, innovative company where you will take the lead on the full life cycle design of existing and new products.Are you a product design engineer with proven experience in taking products from concept to manufacture? Do you want to play an integral role in a start-up business that has already established key customers?This company produce and supply specialist, automated machines for electronics products. They are in the process of scaling up operations from batch production to mass manufacturing in line with customer demand and require a mechanical design engineer to help them successfully achieve this.In this role you will work closely with procurement, software and electronics engineers on the full concept to manufacture process. The key deliverables are to make the transition to mass manufacture, improve reliability and improve the aesthetics of the product. The long term plan is continue adding new products to the range which you will also have a key part to play in.The ideal candidate will have a strong design background either with a mechanical bias or product design with a focus on manufacturing with key achievements in taking products through the full life cycle. You will want to work for an ambitious start-up company in a role that will evolve over time.The Role:
