Finance Support Manager

In this role you will be reporting to the Head of Financial Control. You will be responsible for leading a team which delivers finance day to day services, supporting colleagues, systems and processes across the Finance and Procurement department, and for quality assuring and streamlining those services in line with customer needs.

Responsibilities

*Core daily and month-end accounting processes 50%; Team Leadership 30%; Quality Assurance 20%;

*Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts

*Reviewing daily bank reconciliations

*Oversee accounts payable to ensure suppliers are paid to terms and supporting the full P2P process

*Reviewing monthly payroll and ensuring tax compliance

*Reviewing expense claims for adherence to policy

*Operating key controls of the business to the highest standard

*Ensure the processes and systems underpinning the financial control framework and financial support processes are fit for purpose, effectively managed, maintained under change control, and changes satisfactorily tested

*Operate key finance processes to required standards of quality, cost and timeliness

*Contribute to the production of the Annual Report and Accounts (ARAC)

Minimum requirements are:

*Qualified accountant

*Management experience (3-4 people)

*Approx 5 years minimum experience

*Experience working in a financial control role in a small or medium company, including responsibility for the general ledger, payables and payroll/taxes.

*SUN/iPOS experience would be really beneficial
