Junior Software Tester

£18,000 - £22,000 + 33 days holiday + private medical + pension

Bristol Are you looking to join a small, close knit software team providing excellent training and the opportunity get involved with introducing automated testing in the future? This is an excellent time to join this innovative company as they grow the team, you will be the sole tester and with support of the developers progress to be a real technical expert. The company are creating innovative, intelligent software for a range of customers to improve their processes. They are looking to continue their growth whilst retaining their excellent work environment. This is a newly created role as all testing was previously done by the development team. This would suit someone with a bit of exposure to software testing through education or work experience, looking for a busy and dynamic company, great work environment and the support to help you become the go to person in testing. The Role:

- Manual testing of systems software, largely in C#, specific training provided

- Develop your wider software test skills to become subject matter expert

- Automated testing is due to be introduced, excellent opportunity to play a large part in the project

- Learn from the team of developers to improve your product and software knowledgeThe Person:

- Some experience of testing software either in education or the workplace

- Any knowledge of C# or .NET environments beneficial not essential

- Looking to work on challenging projects and get lots of training
