Our banking client are currently looking for a Market Data consultant to come on board for an initial 12 month contract in London,

Role: Market Data Consultant

Duration: 12 Months initially

Daily rates: Open rate

Location: London

Core Responsibilities

* Supporting and implementing exchange driven changes (EDCs) as required

* Providing escalated support for Trading desks and application teams.

* Collaboration with global team colleagues

* 1st Line support for all Market Data platforms.

Technical Skills

* Thorough knowledge of Market Data Distribution technologies (eXegy, Wombat/SR Labs, Reuters, Bloomberg)

* Strong knowledge of consolidated and direct feeds

* Experience in market data content from multiple providers.

* Good knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast, Routing Protocols, Security)

* Good working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating environments

* Experience in financial market applications, exchange data and internal trading flows
