Internal I.T Change Communications Director to be based in London on an initial 6 Month contract. Experienced Internal I.T Change Communications Director needed to lead communications to support the business and change management plans of the client in relation to I.T services - in particular our migration to Microsoft Office 365 platform.

Our client is seeking an experienced internal communications lead, specializing in internal I.T change communications planning and execution. The communications lead for internal I.T change will work with colleagues across Client to plan and deliver effective and timely employee communications activities to help us prepare for and adopt significant changes our technology tools and platforms.

You'll be required to work closely with our I.T department to plan a calendar of communications to keep employees informed of I.T changes and initiatives, and will work with communications, HR, executive leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure our internal technology communications reflect our brand, and align with our strategic priorities and people experience.

The successful candidate will deliver IT services communications through a variety of channels with creativity, quality and flawless execution.

Responsibilities

* Lead communications to support the business and change management plans of Client in relation to I.T services - in particular our migration to Microsoft Office 365 platform

* Lead the transformation of our current internal I.T communications intranet to a new platform

* Publish I.T change materials to internal websites, and manage broadcast e-mail distributions

* Identify new tools and capabilities to increase the quality of our internal communications for IT

* Support and contribute to the development of effective communications plans for a variety of global technology business priorities.

* Draft and/or edit communications messages for multiple channels (blog posts, emails, town halls etc.).

* Apply standards that promote continuity and consistency across the organisation's communications practices.

* Participate in projects partnering with communications colleagues to continually improve protocols and process for communications support.

* Take a senior leadership and proactive role in IT change communications.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES

* 5-7 years internal communications experience with a focus on I.T communications and transformation

* Detail-oriented; exceptional project management and organizational skills

* Able to influence and 'manage up' with senior executives and build trusted relationships.

* Experience working with and maintaining confidential and sensitive information

* Experience with Office 365, Jive, Poppulo and other mass communications systems

* Exposure or knowledge of the financial services industry preferred
